Our Mission
Dust & Mercy is a Eucharistic ministry devoted to revealing the relentless mercy of God through prayer, storytelling, and practical love. We support and multiply the works of mercy already present in Acadiana while offering rosaries, vigils, reflections, retreats, and spiritual resources that help every person encounter Christ’s tenderness. With a particular love for those most in need of mercy — the outcast, the forgotten, the ones who feel beyond reach — we create spaces where beauty heals, humility restores, and every soul can rediscover its worth. We stand with the broken, walk with the burdened, and witness to a Love that never turns away.
Meet Joshua
Joshua is a grateful dog dad, creative director at Mais Oui Creative, rosary maker, and violinist whose life has been shaped by the long arc of mercy. He works at the intersection of beauty, theology, and human tenderness — helping communities and individuals articulate what grace is doing among them. His vocation is simple and honest: to kneel in the dust, to witness the mercy, and to help others recognize the divine story unfolding in their own lives.
Rooted in a Catholic imagination and open to every soul who aches for hope, Joshua carries a charism for naming the holy in the ordinary — the cracked places, the quiet miracles, the unearned tenderness that keeps the world from collapsing.
As the founder of Dust & Mercy, Joshua stewards a movement devoted to the ones most in need of mercy — those who feel forgotten, unworthy, or too far gone. His work spans poetic theology, visual design, and the crafting of communal experiences that invite people into healing, humility, and resurrection.
Joshua offers a combination of artistic sensitivity, spiritual depth, and practical wisdom. Whether shaping a liturgical event, refining a piece of mystical prose, or accompanying someone through their own dark night, he moves with the same conviction:
