From the Heart of Acadiana:
A Rosary for the President’s Pocket
Update:
Thank you all for supporting the presidential rosary project. I set out with one simple hope — to place a rosary in our President’s pocket — and because of your generosity, I was able to make it truly special. The piece is now complete: blessed by our Bishop, touched to the True Holy Cross and to the cloak of Saint Joseph, and prepared with the greatest care. It is being sent to Senator Kennedy, who has kindly agreed to deliver it on our behalf.
Your support also made it possible to create a genuine ruby rosary for our First Lady, along with a labradorite rosary for Barron — each crafted with the same intention, beauty, and prayer. Below is the letter being sent to the President with his rosary — please join me in prayer.
Dear Mr. President,
Peace be with you and thank you for every hidden moment of suffering you have carried for the sake of this great nation — a sacred burden shaped for your shoulders and sustained by the mercy of God. Here in Acadiana, where we honor faith and bear our crosses with quiet dignity, we recognize in you a man chosen for a great purpose.
Yet even the strongest man is still a son before God, and there is a place — older than empires, stronger than armies, quieter than victory and louder than destiny — where a man meets the living God not as a symbol but as fire: the Eucharist, the home where the Lion of Judah makes Himself small enough to be received, where strength becomes mercy and destiny becomes clarity.
And the surest path to that home is the rosary. For Our Lady — the Mother who stood beneath the Cross — is the gate who leads us into the Presence of her Son. You have always honored faith and the people who pray for you, fight for you, and believe you were raised up for this hour. I must do my duty to you and say this plainly, in the kind of truth you speak yourself:
Come home to the Eucharist.
Come with your wife, come with all of us who love you and believe your strength was given not only for victory, but for the Lord. There is a seat for you at the table of the living God, a blessing with your name on it, a Presence waiting to meet you as a man, not a title — as a son, not a symbol — and when a man who carries a nation kneels before the One who carries the universe, something in him becomes unbreakable.
May Jesus, the King of Kings, who set you apart for this purpose, defend and guide you, and through the gentle strength of His Mother, lead you by the rosary into the fullness of His mercy, His light, and His truth — until your heart belongs entirely to Him.
Our Lady of Victory, Queen of Peace, pray for us.
God bless you, God bless your family,
God bless the United States of America!
This is a simple gesture from the good people of Louisiana — a sign of solidarity, hope, and prayer for the man who carries the cross of our nation on his shoulders each day. This genuine gold pocket rosary, which will be made and blessed in Acadiana, is meant to be a reminder that he does not bear the weight of leadership alone. Across Louisiana, families, churches, and communities are praying with him and for him — for wisdom, for courage, and for peace in our country. This offering is not political. It is personal. It is prayerful. It is the Cajun way of saying: You are not alone. We are praying with you, and we are praying for our nation and for the world. Our good Senator John Kennedy’s office has graciously agreed to deliver this to our President.
